How do I access my UCF email? ›

Type in your NID followed by @ucf.edu under the "Account" field and your NID password under the "Password" field. If you do not know what your NID is, visit https://my.ucf.edu/ and select "What is my NID?" right below the gold sign-in button. Visit https://www.webmail.ucf. edu/ to sign in to your new email account.

Creating a UCF Email Account

If you are a new student at UCF and need to create an email account, please log on to the myUCF portal, click the Email link on the left-hand side, and then click the create account button. For details on the account creation guide https://www.webmail.ucf.edu/.

Starting in March, UCF will begin a phased shutdown of all faculty and alumni @Knights.UCF.edu email accounts. After June 1, 2024, all faculty and alumni will no longer have access to their Knights accounts.

The easiest way to check your student email is to use the browser on your phone and go to http://portal.office.com and sign in the same way you would on a desktop or laptop. The next best way is to use the Outlook Web App (OWA). This is an app you can download from the App Store or Google Play and is free of charge.

Reset your NID password. A mis-remembered password is most common login problem. If your NID account is still locking up, contact the UCF Service Desk at 407-823-5117, servicedesk@ucf.edu.

A .edu email address is only for students. You must be enrolled in any accredited school, college, or university. Any educational institute offers such email addresses to its students. You can always contact their IT department or student services office to inquire about getting the email address.

After June 1, 2024, all remaining alumni and former students will no longer have access to their Knights accounts.

What is the email format for UCF? ›

The @ucf.edu email will be used for all official university communications.

Students can update their contact information through myUCF.

If you don't have an active email address on record with the university or cannot remember what it was, download the Email Change Form and submit it to the Registrar's Office.

One of the most common reasons why people can't log into their email address is due to entering an incorrect username or password. It's easy to mistype or forget these details, especially if you have multiple email accounts. To troubleshoot this issue, start by double-checking the username and password you entered.

Can I pay to keep my Knights Mail or to extend my use of it? UCF alumni will no longer have access to their @Knights.UCF.edu email account for life. Instead, recent alumni will be able to retain their NID@UCF.edu email account for one year after graduation before the account is closed.

Go to http://mail.ufl.edu, then click on Login to Outlook Web Access or Outlook Web Access. Sign on to Outlook Web App using your GatorLink username and password.

Navigate to my.ucf.edu. Click the Sign On button at the top left of the page. Login with your NID and NID password.
